April Music proudly introduces simply the best DDC in the high-end world. The new USB interface works in asynchronous 24/192 mode, runs two super-low jitter clocks for 44.1/88.2/176.4 and 48/96/192kHz respectively and outputs S/PDIF via galvanically isolated 75-ohm coax and 110-ohm AES/EBU sockets.
In its solid aluminum casing, the U3 is organized around the 32-bit 500Mips XMOS processor and replaces the company's former U2 model. The same USB transceiver module will appear in the forthcoming Stello DP1000 preamp/DAC and also figures in the firm's current version of the Stello Ai500 integrated amplifier
