Audioquest 1394-G 4/4 Braid (Firewire or i.Link) Cable

The IEEE 1394 specifications standard enables high-speed isochronous (real-time) data interfacing between many senders and receivers of digital information. Previously, most 1394 applications were confined to the world of computers and peripherals, camcorders and digital cameras. Now there is an explosion of 1394 interfaces on various digital and multimedia sources, including set-top boxes, multichannel audio and digital displays.

AQ/CQ 1394-G (4 to 4 pin) uses 1.25% silver conductors, which greatly improve high frequency performance for a fraction of the cost of solid silver. Solid High-Density Polyethylene is used to minimize loss caused by insulation and to insure critical geometry stability. An RF Stopper helps prevent interference problems.

1394-G is available in a braided jacket in lengths of 2M, 3M and 4.5M. 1394-G is available in an off-white PVC CL-3 rated jacket in various lengths from 3m to 9M.
