For those with higher resolution systems, Colorado is a must listen. The new Cold- Weld connectors alone would make Colorado worth its price. Gorgeous, ingenious and exceptionally transparent, these new connector’s get out of the way and let the music flow in a way that’s simply shocking. When harnessed to Audioquest’s premium copper conductors, this combination provides a neutral, high-resolution platform from which to create exceptional performance.

New high-voltage 72V DBS packs increase the shielding effect and more thoroughly charge the dielectric, lowering the noise floor but also greatly improving tonality, dynamic range and resolution. FEP air tubes around the PSC+ copper conductors give Colorado greater transparency and focus, as well as improving pacing and timing. The new Noise-Dissipation shielding eliminates enormous amounts of airborne noise allowing Colorado to recreate inky black backgrounds and truly reproduce the space and dimensions of any performance.

Any of these improvements taken separately, would make Colorado a reference cable, however, placing them all in one cable creates a listening experience unlike any other.

The Audioquest Colorado interconnects are without question some of the best cables I’ve heard. Neutrality, which is something every cable should strive for, is achieved to an amazing extent. They offer the blackest of backgrounds, and add absolutely no color to the sound. With their lightning-quick response, all of the instruments are firmly placed and held appropriately in the sound stage. The connectors are top-notch, and don’t delay the signal a bit. The cold welding technology used to bind the connector to the conductor ensures that the point of contact is both secure and stable. Feel free to use these cables in recreation, or in the most elite reference systems out there.
