The successor to our highly regarded MC-3i is incorporated into a body made entirely of Bruyère wood. This reduces body resonances and increases transparency to provide a higher accuracy of musical reproduction.

The core of the coils, handmade in Neuhausen, Switzerland, consists of a square, pure iron plate with rigorously controlled magnetic qualities. This assures that as little resistance as possible is put up against changes in the magnetic flux.

To reduce the moment of inertia and increase dynamics, a solid boron cantilever with a diameter of only 0.28mm is fitted with a face-bonded precision stylus. This mirror-polished diamond scans the grooves of vinyl records with an accuracy previously unknown, without wearing down your irreplaceable collectors’ discs.
