Celebrating their 30th anniversary in precision analog design and manufacturing, Clearaudio is an industry leader. The Performance package is machined to exacting tolerances in their German factory, then hand assembled and calibrated by trained technicians. Innovations of the Performance include the CMB platter bearing and a composite plinth made with synthetic granite. The motor is completely isolated, sitting apart from the plinth. Combined with the CMB, this allows your cartridge to play only what's on the record.
