Want the convenience and peace of mind of an automatic turntable and the detail and resolution of a high-end manual turntable? This is the package for you! The full potential of the excellent DP-300F is not realized by the stock conical-stylused cartridge. Adding the 2M Blue, with its Nude Elliptical diamond stylus, extracts more information from your records than you may have thought possible. The increased dynamics and improved sound staging make this turntable a real audiophile source component while maintaining the care-free enjoyment of automatic playback.
Denon DP-300F Details The DP-300 is a two-speed, fully automatic turntable with a built-in phono preamp. It has been designed with a heavier plinth for reduced vibration and heightened performance. The headshell allows for any standard mount cartridge between 5 and 10 grams to be mounted and balanced, and it is removeable, so you can switch between cartridges with ease.
“Fully automatic” means you can completely start or stop your turntable with just the push of a button. The arm will move itself in to place at the beginning of the record, play until the side is done, then return to the armrest, starting and stopping the motor accordingly. This not only makes the DP-300 easy to use, it also keeps the needle away from your records when the music stops, preventing unnecessary wear on both the needle and your vinyl. Set the automatic start for 7” or 12” records, also with the push of a button. The turntable can be operated manually as well, if you prefer.
The built-in phono preamp allows you to plug your turntable into any receiver or amplifier, without having to purchase a separate preamp. If you have your own preamp, or if your receiver has an input labeled “Phono”, then simply turn off the built-in preamp with the switch under the platter.
User Manual Audioreview.com Review of the Denon DP-300F "The arm really is the quality you expect on a manual unit, except that it has automatic place and return [...] If you're looking for a well-built model that produces great sound, comes with the latest enhancements, and is easy to operate, then the Denon DP-300F may be for you."
Turntable Reviews Guide "Sound – the sound is amazing. It does sound better than a CD. I turned the volume very high that my glass window and kitchen glasses were shaking and rattling but the turntable kept playing! No skipping whatsoever."
