Brian at Needle Dr reviews the Music Hall MMF2.2 LE
For folks who like good sound, but are trying to keep the budget in mind, the Music Hall MMF2.2 LE is a wonderful option. Fitted with a Pro-Ject tonearm, Music Hall Tracker cartridge, and hinged dustcover, this turntable gets you going with everything you need in style. The Ferrari-Red glossy finish is stunning, and the sound quality follows suit. Don’t worry about a break-in period either, this thing sounds fantastic out of box. Tonal balance is accurate, the bass is deep, and inner details come flying through with ease. The machine-balanced aluminum platter is driven by a suspended motor pulley, which keeps any unwanted vibration from getting to the precious playing surface. The feet are adjustable, making leveling a breeze, and a nice set of phono cables comes supplied. It’s small details like these that make the MMF2.2 LE almost laughable at $499.
