After 50 years I too have found a truly Lovely phono cartridge! I replaced a Blue Point No.2 and I've never looked back. There was a warm open depth that revealed subtle nuances which I had not heard from Lps that I have owned and listened to for many a year.... and I'm about to buy a new one for my B'day. Fantastic.

I am very pleased with this cartridge, it replaced a Ortofon 2M Red that came with my Pro-Ject debut carbon T.T. Its a more musical cartridge, with great separation, tight focused bass and midrange, and very ear pleasing highs. It took around 50 hrs of play to fully blossom, but it is far better musically than the 2M Red, which is a very good cart to begain with.Excellent tracking also running with the recommended 2.2 grams VTF. As with all good cart's, set up makes all the diff in sounding good, or sounding fantastic as this Clearaudio Concept V2 does. If your looking for a MM cartridge, I think you will have a hard time finding a more musical cartridge anywhere near this price!!!
I replaced a denon 103r with the concept and open up the pearly gates of vinyl. The music just sounded alive full range , sounstage and silk. Set up on a Clearaudio Champion, Kef Reference and SET KT88 Tubes.

Wonderfully open, warm and pleasing to listen to. I have it on a VPI Traveler Mk.1 and it's wonderful. I replaced a Ortofon 2M Red which sound annoyingly forward in the midrange. Nice upgrade.

I concur with peter on this it's amazingly sounding dynamics details the whole stage is just lifted. I mostly listen to thrash and death metal and it just tracks those pieces of music excellent!!!

After 45 years of tinkering around with over 100 hundred phono cartridges ranging in price from $6 to $325...I have found the perfect Moving Magnet Phono Cartridge. With a recommended VTF of 2.2 grams...its interpretation of the stereo record groove far surpasses anything else I've ever heard! It is the first phono cartridge to truly bring the high end to the audiophile on a budget. Its imaging is superb and precise as its ability to handle sibilants. I fear that $600 or higher competitors in the high end market are in for a rather rude awakening! By far the best at its price!
