The TecnoArm Mk II...

is based on the Rega RB202. A proprietary process is applied to toughen the bearing housing and headshell. The armtube is drilled to reduce resonances and total mass. The underside of the headshell is aligned to the bearings and precision milled, ensuring zero azimuth error. The arm is internally damped with foam and wired with continuous lengths of Michell's proprietory solid silver Litz wire between Michell's own machined silver-plated billet bronze cartridge clips and silver-plated RCA plugs. A 6" long ground lead with eyelet allows proper grounding to the turntable chassis.
  • One-piece perforated arm casting with internal foam damping
  • Proprietary silver litz cable in a continuous run from cartridge to amplifier
  • PTFE dielectric, metal braided shielding, separate ground wire
  • Silver-plated cartridge clips and phono plugs
  • Two counterweights, matching cartridges of 4-7g and 7-13g
  • Vertical tracking force adjuster in steps of 0.1g
  • Vertical tracking angle adjuster
  • Finger locknut for easy arm removal or VTA adjustment
  • One year warranty

This tonearm is an exceptional performer with an outstanding build quality. Undoubtedly one of the best tone arms in this price range. Love it.

I have been very satisfied with this product. I own a gyro se and it is a great match, I found no other arms a this price point with vta adjustability , if you are carful, on the fly. Perfect for getting it sounding perfectly right on an individual record, because I run modern tip shapes, very sensitive to VTA. I had read that this is the last design personally done by Mr. Mitchell , who also did the gyro table. I read he designed the gyro using the SME arm, so having the same guy voice this arm to the table helped my purchase decision. I consider this arm a quality knock off of the SME V arm, since it probably sounds as close to one in action as Mr. Michell could manage at a lower price. Very easy to use , I like the feature of no breaks or connections in the wire from cart to end plugs.

I have owned this tonearm for a few years now, and I am very impressed with its tracking. I use a Sumiko EVO III cartridge and the arm lets all the brilliance out while being respectful to the media.
