Ratings & Reviews
This machine does an amazing job of restoring the fidelity to noisy records. I've cleaned several albums now that have always sounded somewhat crackly with great success. I highly recommend except for 1 thing. Spare parts, ie. vacuum wands, at this time don't appear to be available. I've left emails on the Music Hall website with no response. This is a 5 star product but because of the lack of concern from it's originator, this review just gets 3 stars.
I made the jump from a Spin Clean to the Music Hall. I was expecting an improvement. Well, after just cleaning a good portion of my collection I can say the Music Hall exceeded my expectations. New or old records, it makes an improvement. Easy to use and no mess. Ear plugs are a must since it is loud--the only reason why I rate it 4 stars instead of 5.
I know Roy Hall plays for keeps. He loves to introduce products that are disruptive at their price point. So when I saw he had come up with a wet vacuum record cleaner priced $100 more than the VPI, if figured it would be a special product. It is. The records I have held onto since the 70s are transformed. Much quieter, more extended. Better focus. Really fantastic and very easy with one revolution drying. I used to use a Spin Clean. This is light years ahead. Your are going to love it.
