Simply pushes the dust around into a pile. Mine fails to "lift" the dust. Lost a few hairs onto the record as well. Good for a spot clean before using additional cleaning methods.

Happy owner of similar if not identical since '95. After a thorough scrubbed machine cleaning then you only need this to sweep any new dirt/dust away. FANTASTIC.

I've had this brush for two years. I clean it occasionally with a record vacuum - the bristles do not come out. It works great.

My experience was the same as Tony's. The brush started shedding bristles within a couple of months.

not happy with mine. going back to audioquest. i wanted to try these to save a few bucks on more expensive dry brushes so i bought two of these at the same time, one was given away as a gift. the fibers flaked right out like a shedding cat and upon further inspection and a light tug, they came loose with ease. i noticed this on the first brush then opened mine to see if the first was defective but the same thing happened. buyer beware. i also own an xpression 3 and have to say pro-ject has done very little to impress me so far.

It does it's job very, very well. I'm not your typical audiophile, but I figure if you spend $100 on a cartridge and $20 on a new record and you don't own a CF brush and use it every side, you're wasting your money. It keeps your equipment sounding great and you don't have to spend your entire paycheck on it.
