Rogue Audio Triton II Phono Preamp

1 Review

Versatility & Performance

The all new Triton II is simply a terrific sounding phono preamp and is a bargain at its price. With its large variety of loading options, the Triton's flexibility and high performance make it suitable for virtually any phono cartridge and system. The completely new circuit design offers improved sound, better dynamics, a significantly lower noise floor and higher overall gain (70dB). Because of its ultra low noise floor the Triton II excels with the most difficult cartridges. We have also added a user selectable rumble filter and an external mono switch to the new design.

A nice suprise. Do not underestimate.

I have had most of the usual names here in Phono Preamps. Musical Surroundings all of them, Heed Quasar, Eastern Electric, Jasmine, and much more.

I am running the Triton II with a Rogue Cronus Mag II.
The Triton II is easily the best, most involving, resolving, most enjoyable sound from LPs I have had here.
For resolution, dynamics, bass, midrange, treble a lifelike performance, balanced from top to the bass and just a pure pleasure! Use a great Cart and wires you will be very pleased.
All the adjustments you could need along with the 70db gain and Sub filter too.

It can beat my Digital front end on a lot of material using an updated Yggdrasil and a PS Audio Perfect Wave Transport.

One of the nicest pieces I have purchased.
